Huang Ho River, more popularly known as Yellow River, in China is another deadliest river in the world which has killed thousands of people annually by flooding. Furthermore, a report tells that the floods caused by Huang Ho River almost killed 5 million people. So, people also call the Yellow River as ‘China’s Sorrow’.
13. Jordan River
Located in Southwest Asia, the 251 km long Jordan River is a unique river that flows to the Dead Sea. On Biblical account, Jordan River is the most famous river because as stated in the books of John, Luke, Mark and Matthew in the New Testament, it is the river where St. John baptised Jesus Christ.
