1. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge:

2. Devdas: Shahrukh Khan as Devdas
2002 released film, Devdas is an Indian romantic drama film which is based on the 1971 Sharad Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel Devdas. The plot follows SRK as Devdas who belongs to a very wealthy family.
After becoming a Law graduate, he returned India to marry his childhood love, Paro (Aishwarya Rai). However, his family did not give their consent to marry Paro which made Devdas go into alcoholism.
The film was the Indian musical romantic film which is also the first time that Big B and SRK appeared on screen together. Mohabbatein is a film that illustrates the battle between two stubborn men Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan and their different beliefs in love.
The plot revolves around Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan), a strict Headmaster of Gurukul, who is particularly intolerant of romance, decreeing that any student who is caught having a romantic affair will immediately be expelled.
On the other hand, Raj Aryan Malhotra (Shah Rukh Khan), Gurukul’s new music teacher, is a firm believer in the power of love which challenges Narayan Shankar that he will fill the Gurukul with love.
Audiences love the conflict between the lead characters in the film; however, criticised its excessive length.

4. Veer Zara:
Another romantic film by Shah Rukh Khan is a 2004 film Veer Zaara. It stars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta as the eponymous star-crossed lovers. The film is a saga of love, separation, courage and sacrifice.
The movie shows how Veer after knowing that Zaara loves him, quit his job and went to Pakistan where he was imprisoned for false charges. However, many years later, a young Pakistani lawyer upon listening to Veer’s story, tries to free him.
5. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai:
Written and directed by Karan Johar, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai received very good response from critics. The film won numerous accolades, including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and awards in the “Best Film” category at the Filmfare Awards, Zee Cine Awards, Screen Awards, and Bollywood Movie Awards.

This rom-com shows love triangles between Rahul (Shahrukh), Anjali (Kajol) and Tina (Rani Mukherjee). The plot displays how two best friends Anjali and Rahul set apart when a new girl, Tina, enters Rahul’s life. However, after almost 8 years, deceased Tina’s daughter takes it upon herself to reunite the estranged lovers.
6. Dil to Pagal Hai
Another romantic movie by Shah Rukh Khan is this 1997 Indian musical romance film which follows the love lives of the musical troupe in which two dancers played by Madhuri Dixit and Karishma Kapoor compete for the love of a choreographer played by Shah Rukh Khan.

7. Badshah – Shahrukh Khan as a detective
Directed by Abbas-Mastan, Baadshah is a 1999 action comedy. The plot tells the story of a detective who is mistaken as a CBI agent. The film is a captivating one which shows how Baadshah played by Shah Rukh Khan gets embroiled in a deadly mission to save the Chief Minister from an assassination attempt.
8. Om Shanti Om
Directed and written by Farah Khan, Om Shanti Om is another romantic film by Shahrukh Khan. The film earned the highest-grossing Indian film of that year, both in India and overseas territories. It received not only positive reviews from critics but also won several awards in major Indian film award ceremonies.
The plot shows how Om played by Shahrukh Khan, a junior artist of the 1970s has a crush on Shanti (Deepika Padukone), a superstar of 70s. Shanti is secretly married to Arjun Rampal who is a famous producer. Arjun, when comes to know that Shanti is pregnant, kills Shanti to save his career.
Om witnesses this and dies from the injuries sustained from trying to rescue Shanti. Nevertheless, Om again takes birth and seeks to avenge his love.
9. Chennai Express
Released under the direction of Rohit Shetty, Chennai Express is about Rahul Mithaiwala’s (Shahrukh Khan) travel from Mumbai to Rameshwaram to immerse his late grandfather’s ashes in the Holy water of Rameshwaram.
En route, he meets a South Indian girl, Meenama (Deepika Padukone) who is the daughter of a famous don. The movie shows how his life becomes a roller coaster ride after meeting Meenama and how he entangles himself in a series of adventures. 10. Main Hoon Na
Released in 2004, Main Hoon Na is an action comedy film which revolves around Shahrukh Khan who played the role of an Indian army major Ram Prasad Sharma.
He becomes embroiled to accomplish a project Milap through which civilian under captivation on either side of the borders of India and Pakistan will be released. The film is one of the most successful Bollywood films discussing the Indo-Pakistani conflict.
