There is always a debate between religious views and modern science for Creation and Evolution. Religious preach that human is created by God and sent to the earth whereas scienceclaimsthat human beings evolved from monkeys. Mythology and science both aim at providing an answer to the mystery of the Universe. If one studies Indian mythology one can get much similarity between Darwin’s Theory of Evolution and ’10 avatars of Lord Vishnu’.
Hindu religion and mythology are probably the oldest in the world. Not only this but it also tells about the wonderful concept of AVATARS of lord Vishnu-the preserver in the Hindu religion which is very similar to that of Darwin’s theories of evolution.
Whether it is just a mere coincidence or a fact, gains mixed debates.
Darwin’s Theory of Evolution mainly states that we have evolved from a common source i.e from the water. If you intersect ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu you can find a similar theory. Evolutionary theory, when viewed from a particular perspective, neatly intersects with the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
Let us know the 10 avatars of Visnu and let us find the similarity between the Vishnu Avatar and Darwin’s theory of evolution.

#2. Kurma – The Amphibian
Darwinsaid that the species then began coming out of the water.Kurma, which wasVishnu’ssecond avatar was anamphibian.
In Darwin’s theory, the second stage was when the fish finally evolved out of the water and evolved to reptiles with legs to be accurate. Theexamplesare A tortoise, lizards, etc.
Our Hindu mythology also suggests the same theory.Kurmaavatar appeared duringSamudramanthanin Satyuga. Life moved from water to the land.
#3. Varaha Avatar – The Mammal
TheVarahaavatar (Satyuga), signifies the birth of the mammal.Theory of Evolution says reptiles evolved into semi-amphibians and then into mammals and land animals in the Triassic period.
Darwin soon brought in light the need to travel across long distances, so creatures developed legs.
Varaha, the third incarnation, was a boar who is more efficient in walking and losing the ability to live underwater.
#4. Narsimha – The Half-Ape
NarasimhaAvatar has the upper body of a lion but lower body of a man which indicates the transformation from animal to human form.
This directly relates to the idea of a pre-human without a well-developed brain.
Evolutionary theory suggests the transformation from animal to ape in the fourth stage of evolution.Beings that are half animal and half human. This stage tells how transition took place from animals to humans. Also, Read|10 Health issues that women suffer in the recent time

#6. Parashuram – The Early Human.
Warrior with an axe, from the Tretayug, this is the sixth avatar of Vishnu that has no animalcharacteristicsand holds an axe. SoParashuram, in other words, is a Homo Sapien.

#7. Lord Rama – The Human
Ram, who is the prince and the king ofAyodhyafrom theTretayuga,is the seventh avatar of Vishnu.Lord Ramarepresents the fact that man has not only evolved, but also his quality of living and mannerisms have fully developed.
