3. Gunjan Saxena

Bollywood newbie Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in to star in this biopic as the first woman Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena. The movie will present how Gunjan was tasked with emergency medical evacuations, supply drops, and tracking Pakistani bases during the Kargil war. Also, she helped evacuate soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999. Later, the Indian government awarded her the Shaurya Chakra, making her the first woman recipient of the coveted gallantry honour. The biopic is releasing in theatres on March 13, 2020.

4. Sardar Udham Singh

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, this film tells the story of a revolutionary freedom fighter Udham Singh. The film features Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Udham Singh was best known for his assassination of Michael O’ Dwyer, the British officer who was responsible for Jallianwala Bagh massacre. 5. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior

6. Thalaivi-Dr. J. Jayalalitha biopic
