Risabh Pant (India)
During the 1st day of the 3rd Test match between India and England, Risabh Pant, who was making his Test debut, achieved a feat which will be remembered for a long long time. Pant came to bat when India lost their skipper Virat Kohli. Pant smashed the second ball he faced for a maximum to open his Test account in a superb fashion. In fact, it was Adil Rashid who was on the receiving end.
Xavier Marshall (West Indies)
The Carribean batsman smashed a six in his T20I debut match against Australia. Brett Lee was the bowler and Marshall smashed it to open his account in his debut T20I match.
Sohail Tanvir (Pakistan)
It was in the 2007 T20 World cup, Sohail Tanvir made his T20I debut innings as he did not get the chance to bat in the previous matches he played for Pakistan. He smashed the first ball he faced for a maximum. In fact, Tanvir achieved the feat in the final of the world cup against India. S Sreesanth of India was on the receiving end. But India won the match to lift the World T20 title.
Mark Craig (New Zealand)
Mark Craig started his test career with a six against West Indies in 2014. It was the 4th day of the first Test match between Newzealand and West Indies.
