BWF Badminton World Championship 2018: India’s badminton sensation Saina Nehwal continues her super form as she advances to the quarterfinals of the Badminton world championship. In the third round, the Hyderabadi defeated Indonesian Ratchanok Intanon convincingly.
Nehwal took just 47 minutes to beat her Thai opponent 21-16, 21-19 to book a place in the last 8. In the 2015 and 2017 editions of the championship, Nehwal won silver and bronze medals. In addition, this is for the 8th consecutive time when she reached the last 8 of the championship. However, a tough contest is awaiting in the quarterfinals as she will face Spanish Carolina Marin.
But it is not a good news for Kidambi Srikanth as he bade goodbye to the tournament. Malaysian Daren Liew defeated Srikanth by a margin 21-18, 21-18.
